JCAH is offering two $1500 scholarships to high school seniors whose interest is primarily in Japanese studies and who intend to pursue a degree at a college or university. Post-secondary students formerly from the Big Island may also be considered. Preference is given to an applicant whose parent or guardian is a member in good standing of the JCAH.
Honorees last year were Luke Hamano and Jillian Mitsuda.
